Roasted Turkey

16lb Turkey
Salt and pepper
1/2 c brandy
1/2 c half and half

Remove giblets. Season turkey with salt and pepper. Pour brandy and half and half mixture on top. Bake at 500F for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F and place a foil triangle on the breast to prevent drying. Cook until meat is 165F internally (about 2 1/2 hours). Baste occasionally.
