Green Bean Casserole

1/3 stick butter
1/2 c diced onions
1/2 c sliced mushrooms
2 c sliced green beans
3 c chicken broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can french fried onion rings
pinch of salt, pepper, garlic powder
1 c grated cheddar

Preheat the oven to 350F.
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Saute the onions and mushrooms in the butter. Boil green beans in chicken broth for 10 minutes and drain. Add the green beans, mushroom soup, onion rings and spices to onion mixture. Stir well. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes. Top with cheddar. Bake 10 minutes.
