Cornbread Dressing

2 boxes cornbread mix
1 loaf white bread
Pepperidge Farm dressing mix
1 stick butter
1 bunch celery
1 green bell pepper
2 bunches green onion

Make 2 boxes cornbread mix. Toast white bread and dressing mix. Crumble 2:1 cornbread to white bread. Add enough dressing to desired ratio. Set aside.

Melt 1 stick butter and saute celery (chopped), pepper (chopped), green onions (chopped). Add to bread mixture.

Add:
2 t sage
2 t poultry seasoning
1 lb browned sausage
5 eggs, beaten
salt
pepper
chicken broth (1 can plus broth from neck & liver)

Add enough chicken broth to make moist but not soupy. Bake in buttered 9x13 casserole dish, uncovered for 30-45 minutes at 350F.
