6 T butter (not margarine)
1 lb powdered sugar
1/4 c half and half
1 1/2 t vanilla
Cream butter. Gradually add half the sugar, blending well. Beat in 2 T cream and vanilla. Gradually blend in remaining sugar. Add enough cream to make of spreading consistency.
Frosts two 8-9 inch layer cakes or 3 dozen cookies.
May add food coloring.
